Electrical Drafter

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to join our team at Legrand North America. As a Drafter II, you will be responsible for creating mechanical and electrical drawings of low and medium complexity using 3D CAD systems and associated BOMs via ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create dimensioned drawings and 3D models based on input from engineers and customers.
• Perform low and medium complexity design work on components as directed, including 3D library components and assemblies.
• Create parts lists for new products.
• Support work within ERP systems, including catalog pages, illustrations, and animations.
• Perform a variety of tasks related to new design and project work, including purchasing support, quality, production assistance, and customer communication.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Drafting or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of drafting experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor or similar CAD systems.
• Previous experience with UEC products is preferred.
