Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts quality assurance inspections and tests on materials, products, components, and processes to ensure compliance with established quality control protocols.
  • Utilizes various testing equipment and machinery to assess the reliability of components, while keeping precise quality records.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation related to daily operations.
  • Identifies and categorizes rejected materials appropriately.
  • Analyzes rejection reports to identify root causes of issues.
  • Communicates any discrepancies or non-conformances to management.
  • Assists in the implementation of Statistical Process Controls (SPC) and maintains relevant reports.
  • Helps establish standard process parameters.
  • Provides necessary training and resources to operators.
  • Supports Quality Engineering initiatives.
  • Participates in cost-reduction and process improvement suggestions.
  • Ensures reliability test requirements are met, including calibration of equipment.
  • Documents all activities in compliance with IATF16949 standards.
  • Completes any other reasonable requests from management.
  • Contributes to a safe and organized work environment, adhering to the principles of the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • Ensures compliance with applicable U.S. and state laws while representing the company or using company equipment.

Compensation:
1st Shift: $17.82/hour
2nd Shift: $18.67/hour
3rd Shift: $18.27/hour
Work Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
All shifts require mandatory overtime.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening (no felonies).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a quality technician role.
  • Basic understanding of stamping and welding processes.
  • Strong experience in quality containment.
  • Familiarity with audits and verification of parts using check fixtures.
