Key Responsibilities- Conduct preoperative interviews and assessments to capture patient information.
- Verify patient identity, surgical site, and informed consent.
- Prepare the OR by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile fields.
- Ensure that surgical supplies and medications specific to the procedure are available.
- Manage non-sterile activities, such as positioning, equipment management, and documentation.
