Job Summary: District Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmologist to join our team as a faculty member in the Department of Surgery. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching residents, and contributing to the development of our clinical service line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient general ophthalmology services in elective and emergent care settings
  • Develop and implement clinical service line strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Teach and mentor residents in a collaborative and supportive environment
  • Participate in collaborative research activities to advance the field of ophthalmology
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Completed an accredited ophthalmology residency program
  • Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology
  • Fellowship training in Glaucoma, Anterior segment, and/or Cornea and External disease is welcome
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Arizona Medical license
