Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Route Sales Representative to join our team at Primo Water Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle and efficiently managing a customer base within an established route.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely Operate a Commercial Vehicle: Ensure the safe operation of a commercial vehicle, including regular vehicle inspections and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage Customer Base: Efficiently manage a customer base within an established route, with an average of 50+ stops per day.
  • Use Application-Based Handheld System: Utilize an application-based handheld system to key transactions and manage customer data.
  • Manage Inventory and Balance Daily Route Activities: Manage inventory and balance daily route activities to ensure efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Complete Service Calls and Resolve Customer Issues: Complete service calls and resolve customer issues to develop strong relationships with customers.
  • Protect Company Assets: Protect company assets, including collection of equipment and customer payments.
  • Identify Opportunities for Growth: Identify opportunities to acquire new long-term customers and support route growth and upselling of current products.

Requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • CDL Class B License: Possess a valid CDL Class B license.
  • Ability to Adhere to Company Policies: Ability to adhere to Primo Water Motor Vehicle Policy and meet ongoing federal DOT physical requirements and testing.
  • Basic Computer/Data Entry Skills: Possess basic computer/data entry skills and math abilities.
  • Customer Service and Sales Experience: Customer service and some sales experience preferred.
  • Lifting and Climbing: Ability to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 60 lbs and climb stairs.
  • Traveling: Some traveling required based on company needs.
