About the Role

As a Liquidity Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the bank's liquidity risk and ensuring the effective implementation of our liquidity management strategies. You will work closely with our treasury team to analyze and assess funding and liquidity risks, develop and maintain liquidity stress test assumptions, and enhance cash flow forecasting and contingency funding plans.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and assess funding and liquidity risks within the bank's balance sheet
  • Develop and maintain liquidity stress test assumptions
  • Enhance cash flow forecasting and contingency funding plans
  • Contribute to new product liquidity assessments
  • Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects as needed by senior management or regulatory initiatives
  • Work independently and collaboratively to establish close partnerships with peers across lines of business, finance, risk, and audit
  • Creation of liquidity reports, including committee materials
  • Support applicable compliance and governance related matters as necessary, including regulatory reviews related to liquidity
  • Support system enhancement projects and development efforts
  • Collaborate with Global and Local MUFG Americas entities to establish best practices and coordination
Requirements
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry with a specific focus on treasury, liquidity risk management, stress testing, liquidity reporting, and/or asset liability management
  • Strong knowledge of liquidity management, related regulatory requirements, financial markets, and products
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to present information in a clear, concise, and effective manner to a wide variety of audiences
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfortable working with and interpreting large amounts of data
  • Must be versatile, able to work effectively independently or as part of a team on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced Excel skills are preferable
  • Ability to deliver practical solutions in a demanding high-pressure environment
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $149K - $180K, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
