About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and analyzing liquidity stresses for Crédit Agricole CIB, as well as producing and analyzing asset and liability reports for the Bank. They will also be responsible for raising alerts on atypical events and movements.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and analyze liquidity stresses for the Bank, including identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Produce and analyze asset and liability reports for the Bank, including identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Raise alerts on atypical events and movements, and work with the Senior Liquidity Risk Manager to develop and implement risk management strategies.
Collaboration and Communication
The candidate will work closely with the Senior Liquidity Risk Manager and report to the Market and Counterparty Risk team for the America. They will also have regular interactions with other key partners in the Bank, including:
- Treasury/ALM: discuss management of the Bank's liquidity and potential enhancements to the monitoring framework.
- IT: define business requirements and follow-up on developments of risk tools.
- Market Risk team: work closely with product control and risk management teams on topics related to liquidity.
Technical Skills
The candidate will have the opportunity to develop and enhance the tools implemented by the Risk team, including:
- Enhancing Excel files with VBA macros.
- Potentially developing Python programming skills.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial risk management and a proven track record of analyzing and mitigating risk. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
