About the Role

  • Assist with developing improvement plans, including rough/finish grading, stormwater management, and utility plans.
  • Design of utility systems, including water, sanitary, and storm drain.
  • Assist with fire flow tests.
  • Interact with other members of a design team, including Architects, Landscape Architects, and MEP Engineers.
  • Engineering support during construction, including review of material submittals, answering Requests for Information (RFIs), site observations, and other tasks.
  • Conduct engineering assessments.
  • Prepare technical engineering reports.
  • Coordinate with private, public, and governmental agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • EIT Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity and understanding of rough and finish grading plans.
  • Knowledge of utility systems, including sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water distribution.
