Key Responsibilities

Sterling Engineering is actively seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in the following areas:

• Proficient in the planning, design, permitting, inspection, and construction management of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pump stations, distribution systems, collection systems, storage facilities, and treatment plants.

• Experience in coordinating water and wastewater infrastructure designs with various engineering disciplines such as traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and surveying is highly desirable.

• Previous project management experience is advantageous.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting while working independently.

• Self-driven individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong aptitude for planning and overseeing the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• 4-7 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred. Experience with Microstation, Revit, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, and/or SewerGEMS is a plus.
