Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at InnovitUSA. As a key member of our DevSecOps team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, monitor, and optimize batch jobs and operations to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Analyze technology currently being used and develop plans and processes for improvement and expansion.
  • Implement and enhance an advanced CI/CD solution, developing, coding, testing, building, installing, configuring, and maintaining IT solutions.
  • Analyze processes and deployments, proposing improvements to streamline code deployments and minimize errors.
  • Use configuration management software to automatically deploy updates and fixes into various production and non-production environments.
  • Document processes and procedures.
  • Support production and non-production related activities and issues.
  • Support releases and sprint-related activities.
  • Provide enterprise-level solutions for existing automation in place while developing new solutions.
  • Develop a proposal plan for approval.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience automating the full life cycle of complex enterprise IT environments using IaC, CaC, and CI/CD tools integrated into a unified solution.
  • Designing and implementing automation solutions for scalability, repeatability, and recoverability.
  • Proven ability and experience designing and implementing advanced automation solutions using tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible Automation Platform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Liquibase, etc.
  • Experience with one or more programming/script languages such as Python, GoLang, Shell, Ruby, bash, shell, Perl.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration Kubernetes platforms such as PODMAN, Docker, EE/OpenShift/Rancher, and packaging tools such as Helm Charts and Kustomize.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions using AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Development experience using Java, J2EE, Java Spring Boot, EJB, JSP, JSF/Struts, (JavaServer Faces, Apache Struts Framework), XML is a significant plus.
  • Experience with WebSphere ND, MQ, Oracle, Java, SQL tools (PL/SQL Developer, SQL Plus), LDAP, Splunk, Dynatrace.
