Job Title: Director of DevOps

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of DevOps to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of DevOps/SRE engineers and driving the development of automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a team of DevOps/SRE engineers and provide guidance on technical direction
* Collaborate with development teams to build automation solutions for common operational/development tasks
* Drive standards within the team to monitor service health, log analysis, and automation
* Drive software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
* Identify opportunities to automate away manual processes and drive operational excellence

Requirements:

* Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
* 10+ years of experience as a Software engineer
* 5+ years as a people manager
* Experience using Perforce or Git-based workflows for code management
* Experience with Python, Golang, C#, or other scripting languages
* Understand software configuration management and release management
* Experience working with ticketing systems such as JIRA
* Experience creating technical documentation for internal and external use
