Job Title: District Sales Executive
Job Summary:
The District Sales Executive is a key role within Expeditors, responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in assigned territories. This position requires a strong understanding of the logistics industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Management: Manage an assigned territory, demonstrating extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area.
- Data Entry: Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool.
- Customer Relationships: Orchestrate customer/branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources.
- Solution Development: Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations.
- Account Transition: Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Training and Development: Attend training and development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge.
- Local Trade Groups: Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager.
- Additional Assignments: Take on additional assignments as required, supporting company needs.
