Job Summary and Qualifications
Our Radiologic Technologists provide information to diagnose patient illnesses by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs. Prior to each exam, you would prepare patients for radiological procedures through proper positioning and image technique, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors. You will maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images. Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and all types of care to the patient. Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs. Requirements include a graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the AMA or documented equivalent education. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology: Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT(R). Basic Life Support Certification. Ability to perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures. Experience in OR, particularly with spine surgery cases. Prefer proficiency with O-ARM and Robotic Surgical Cases. This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
