We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Director to join our team at Movement Search & Delivery. This is a direct-hire position based in the metro Detroit area.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize material availability and reduce costs.
  • Managing inventory levels, conducting physical inventory and cycle counts, and reconciling with the ERP system to ensure plant-level inventory accuracy.
  • Utilizing the ERP system to ensure material availability in support of production requirements.
  • Directing production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.
  • Developing and implementing materials handling procedures to ensure safe and accurate movement of material through facilities.
  • Overseeing shipping and receiving functions related to purchased parts and finished goods.
  • Providing day-to-day support and guidance to plant scheduling and materials personnel in meeting business performance objectives.
  • Coordinating and consolidating daily, weekly, monthly, and YTD metrics specified by the scorecard process.

This is a high-profile position offering an excellent opportunity for continued advancement.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

3+ years of experience as a Materials Manager and/or Supply Chain Manager.

Experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, and/or off-road vehicle industry.

Experience in a plant manufacturing environment.

JIT experience is a plus.

Lean Manufacturing Mindset.

Previous supervisory experience.
