Position Overview: Are you skilled in augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) technologies and interested in contributing to an academic setting? This distinctive contract position at The Nagler Group offers an exciting opportunity to engage with innovative educational methods. The Learning & Research Technology Coordinator will act as a consultant and resource for the planning, testing, and deployment of AR/VR technologies that enhance learning, instruction, faculty research, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist faculty in exploring and integrating AR/VR technologies and other cutting-edge tools into their curricula.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on suitable learning and research technologies to facilitate effective teaching and outreach.
- Create and design workshop materials that promote technology strategies for both traditional and online courses, while leading individual and group training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with augmented reality and virtual reality technologies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to proofread, edit, and produce high-quality written materials and presentations.
- Expertise in IT visual presentation design and the development of clear instructional materials.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, with a customer-service-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences, work independently or collaboratively, and deliver effective presentations and training.
- Proficient in managing time and multiple projects concurrently, setting priorities, achieving goals, and meeting deadlines.
