Nurse Navigator Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Patient Care Navigator Lead to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle IVF in Atlanta, GA.
Job SummaryThe RN Patient Care Navigator Lead will be responsible for directing clinical staff to improve operational efficiencies and service delivery, ensuring regulations are followed, and managing surgical and anesthesia schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and facilitate the effective delivery of patient services within the assigned work area by regularly monitoring patient flow.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff and training existing staff on new or revised policies and procedures.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records, including nAble system.
- Perform nursing care within the surgical suite, pre-, intra-, and postoperatively in accordance with standards of practice.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Ensure operation of equipment by following manufacturer's instructions.
- Navigate patients through their fertility journey, including initial visit, diagnostic testing, follow-up, and treatment.
- Coordinate patient cycles and maintain patient calendar, ordering appropriate medications, scheduling blood work, and monitoring visits.
- Accept/make phone calls regarding laboratory values and semen study results with appropriate explanation.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with employees and the general public.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and to conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to work independently to manage a caseload of patients.
- Act in compliance with legal rules and regulations applicable to the position.
