  • Therapeutic Interventions: Design and administer evidence-based remedial programs to restore or improve communicative abilities in patients with speech and language disorders.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes, adhering to departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Professional Development and Education: Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical expertise and contribute to the development of clinical education programs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and care partners to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 300 hours of supervised clinical experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: NYS Speech Language Pathology License and ASHA Certification required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
