Job Title: Peoplesoft Technical Functional Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Peoplesoft Technical Functional Specialist to join our team at People Tech Group Inc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Peoplesoft HCM 9.2 with latest PeopleTools version and expertise in Core HR, Benefits, Time & Labor and Payroll Modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements gathering with end users, design solutions to meet requirements, build and unit test solutions, and ensure they meet end user expectations before deploying to production environments.
  • Map functional requirements, transforming them into technical requirements, and advise on the best technical solutions for business requirements.
  • Develop and implement documented technical designs to meet business requirements, primarily focused on Peoplesoft HR, Benefits, Payroll applications, and their integrations with various third-party applications.
  • Unit test system changes, identify and resolve issues, and document configuration.
  • Assist in preparing system test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure desired results are produced.
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Participate in code and technical requirements reviews and code deployments.
  • Ensure code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, scalability, usability, security, object-oriented practices, and performance.
  • Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a programmer analyst.
  • Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to ensure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support.

Requirements:

  • Specialized and in-depth knowledge on Peoplesoft HCM 9.2 with latest PeopleTools version and expertise in Core HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, and Payroll Modules.
  • Project management experience in handling end-to-end project phases, interacting with users, and managing a team.
  • Good system knowledge of Peoplesoft HR applications and their integrations with Benefits vendors, Taleo, and various other third-party integrations.
  • Expertise in developing interfaces, complex bolt-on applications, enhancements, reports, conversion programs, workflow design using Peoplesoft Technology like Integration Broker, Webservices, Application Package PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Approval framework, SQR, BI Publisher.
  • Expertise in setting up/configuring secure file transfers using various methodologies (Cygwin, PSFTP, SSH).
  • Setting up encryption and decryption of upstream/downstream data using PGP method.
  • Configure the Peoplesoft system to meet unique business requirements.
  • Expertise in developing Performance DB Scripts and Oracle Programming (9i, 10G, and 11G) and SQL server 2012.
  • Expertise in executing unit/system/integration/user acceptance/parallel and performance testing scripts, validation, and testing services for Peoplesoft Applications.
  • Expertise in developing jobs using Peoplesoft Process scheduler and Autosys Schedule Tool.
  • Experience in using third-party migration tool STAT to migrate objects between environments.
  • Expertise in defining standards for design/coding.
  • A required minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
