We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner in Pediatrics to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, you will work closely with attending physicians, collaborating on patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities
  1. You will manage a caseload of patients, conducting regular assessments, gathering data, and analyzing findings to inform individualized care plans.
  2. You will perform advanced procedures, carefully selected and approved through our credentialing process, to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  3. In your capacity as a consultant and educator, you will support patients, families, students, and healthcare teams, promoting professional growth and excellence in pediatric care.
  4. You will engage in scholarly activities, maintain necessary competencies, and identify areas for continued learning, driving ongoing improvements in your practice.
  5. You will address safety concerns and uphold shared responsibility for safe practice, aligning with our commitment to quality and patient safety.
Qualifications

Please note the following requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing is essential.
  • An optional specialization in nursing may be beneficial.
Essential Skills

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent teamwork skills, proficiency in using computers and electronic medical records, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Licenses and Certifications Required

You must hold the following licenses and certifications:

  • A registered nurse license in Pennsylvania.
  • A certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) certification in Pennsylvania.
  • A registered nurse license in New Jersey.
  • An advanced practice nurse (APN) certification in New Jersey.
  • A specialization as a nurse practitioner in your area of specialty.
  • A prescriptive authority in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $135,000 annually.
