Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to increase sales, lower costs, and improve efficiency
  • Lead and manage a team of insurance professionals to achieve sales quotas and collect premiums
  • Interpret and implement company policies, ensuring compliance and adherence
  • Prepare and submit activity reports to senior management
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities through new or existing accounts, insurance agents, and agency acquisitions
  • Match staffing needs to sales requirements, ensuring appropriate customer service levels
  • Prepare annual budgets and manage expenditures, promoting cost-saving measures
  • Direct training and staff development, leading or participating in project teams
  • Represent the agency with clients and vendors, building strong relationships
Requirements
  • Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent and four years related experience and/or training
  • Current valid Insurance License(s)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of Agency management systems, contact management systems, Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
