Operations Manager Job Description

As an Operations Manager at Zinnia Health, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse. Your primary responsibility will be the daily administration and supervision of all facilities/clinics/programs, including fostering compliance with regulatory standards, successful business performance, and the direct supervision of facilities/clinics/programs directors and operational staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising a team to ensure timely completion of work and adherence to program policies and procedures.
  • Providing weekly supervision through documentation of assessment of professional competencies, skills, and recommendations through weekly meetings and direct and periodic observation.
  • Providing supervision and support of new hire orientation and training for staff.
  • Complying with state/federal/and or certification/licensure training requirements and ensuring compliance.
  • Providing supervision to operations staff.
  • Overseeing the overall management and quality of operational programs/departments.
  • Providing employment support for operational staff as needed.
  • Providing oversight, guidance, and completion of all location complaints and investigations related to staff and clients.
  • Maintaining compliance with national accreditation, and governmental regulations and maintaining all program operating licenses.
  • Responsible for overall program performance, and quality outcomes, including patient satisfaction with services.
  • Responsible for all facility/clinic improvements and appearance.
  • Adhering to company standards of conduct.
  • To ensure that the developmental programs meet the organizational goals and objectives.
  • Plan strategies and developmental plans for the welfare of the organization.
  • Coordinate with the CEO, and other senior management for the development and implementation of programs.
  • Ensure sufficient communication of information between all levels of the organization and implementation of strategies.
  • To lead the organization, focusing on all the core functions of the organization.
  • Ensures organizational corporate and clinical compliance with outside agencies and laws to maintain licensing and the welfare of the organization.
  • Review of breaches and development strategies, policies and procedures, and subsequent implementation.
  • Responsible for the growth and development of the organization and in its growth and acquisition of a new business, lead the due diligence process, presenting findings and recommendations to the CEO.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required; Bachelors degree, preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a supervisor or management level.
  • Direct clinical experience working with substance abuse/mental health patients with demonstrated knowledge and understanding.
  • Strong problem-solving and group work leadership skills.
  • Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound, current computer, and small office management skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including proper use of communication tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some evening and weekend requirements.
  • Access to a reliable personal vehicle and documented expenses shall be reimbursed.
  • Must pass mandatory pre-employment screenings, including background checks and health screenings.
