Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Infant Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Lincoln Behavioral Services. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with parents, program staff, and community resources to provide a continuum of services to infants and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to promote physical health, emotional well-being, and social development in young children and their families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client and family needs, and provide therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external entities to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  • Provide home-based therapeutic services, including support groups and individual sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including in-service training, peer review, and external workshops and seminars.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human service field.
  • Obtain appropriate certification through the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health.
  • Background in early childhood development or basic understanding of appropriate parent-infant dynamics.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience with direct clinical experience in providing therapeutic services to infants/toddlers and their families.
