Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeper Inspector and Trainer to join our team at StepStone Hospitality Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out keys, and return keys when reporting to the office at the end of shift.
  • Open and close the department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, including assignment of room boards, keys, and other opening and closing requirements.
  • Respond to all incoming Housekeeping calls and address guest needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform inventories of supplies and order for par levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Log all missing items and maintain a catalog of lost and found items, shipping or mailing out claimed items to guests.
  • Report all items in need of repair to the supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.
  • Protect guest safety and well-being, and be courteous to all guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to accurately use various office software and work overtime as needed.
Requirements
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to accurately report information and scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Attend required meetings and conduct oneself professionally at all times, setting standards for all associates.
  • High school education and relevant training and experience required, with additional education preferred.
  • CPR and first aid training preferred, as well as additional language ability.
