As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and closing deals. With a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the water sector, you'll thrive in this exciting role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities and develop strategies to close deals.
- Contact potential clients through calls and emails to build relationships and present our company's value proposition.
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products or services to increase customer satisfaction.
- Customize product solutions to meet client requirements and stay up-to-date with new products and services.
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients and proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to set up meetings or calls between clients and our sales team.
- Report on sales results and provide insights to improve our sales strategy.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in a Business Development or Sales role, preferably in the municipal water and wastewater sector.
- Strong knowledge of CRM software and sales automation tools.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a high degree of professionalism when representing our company.
- Results-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with sales techniques, including cold calls and presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
Estimated Salary:
$85,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
