Position Summary:
A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for meticulously documenting every aspect of the shipment process, from packaging items into containers to affixing the appropriate labels. This role is crucial in ensuring that each delivery is dispatched completely and punctually. Precision is vital to prevent any shipping inaccuracies. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no travel obligations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Retrieve orders and prepare products for shipment or load containers.

• Complete Purchase Orders (POs) accurately.

• Process product orders with precision and timeliness.

• Support accurate inventory management by adhering to local shipment guidelines and maintaining records of finished goods and packaging materials.

• Keep detailed records, whether digitally or on paper.

• Generate regular shipping and receiving reports for management review.

• Assist in investigating any discrepancies in inventory.

• Ensure compliance with environmental management systems.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar capacity.

• Valid forklift certification.

• Strong teamwork capabilities.

• Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, procedures, and guidelines.

• Ability to lift items and containers weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to work varied hours as needed throughout the week.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
Education and Experience:

• Required:
o High School Diploma or GED.
o Minimum of three (3) years of experience in production, shipping, or material handling.

Working Environment:

• Exposure to various weather conditions, including high temperatures, extreme cold, rain, snow, ice, and wind.

• Fast-paced environment with heavy material handling equipment traffic.

• Potential for drafts in the work area.

• Handling of materials that may include chemicals, adhesives, and raw materials.

• Risk of pinch hazards from moving mechanical parts on equipment.
