We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician I to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Essential Functions- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Obtain and record vital signs, weights, and heights, as well as assist with mobility and transfers.
- Perform post-mortem care and measure and record intake and output.
- Conduct EKGs, phlebotomy, and blood glucose monitoring, and observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the RN.
- Maintain phlebotomy equipment and inventory, and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a training program in patient care or a related field.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other healthcare team members.
- 6 months prior healthcare experience with patient care experience preferred.
