Position Overview

Advocate Aurora Health is in search of a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to take on the role of Neurology Nursing Leader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Management: Oversee, design, and assess care standards within the neurology specialty to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Surgical Leadership Team to address interdisciplinary challenges and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care while serving as a clinical resource for operating room staff and other departments.
  • Mentorship: Guide and support team members through coaching and development, fostering an environment of growth and professional advancement.
  • Resource Management: Ensure optimal utilization of resources within the surgical specialty, including supply management and collaboration with vendors.
Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a preference for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of nursing experience in operating room settings.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks related to patient care, including lifting and transferring patients as necessary. Must be capable of working in a dynamic environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.
