Responsibilities- Administer medications to residents in accordance with Federal and State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
- Conduct admissions assessments and documentation for new residents.
- Develop and implement acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
- Track clinical systems, such as wounds or infection control, under the direction of the director.
- Provide general consultation on health-related concerns within the community.
- Notify physicians and/or family members of any changes in a resident's health and document accordingly.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
- Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
- Assist with discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program.
- 1+ years of experience in senior care or a related field.
- A current Licensed Practical Nurse's License in the state where you will be practicing.
- CPR certification.
- Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors and other employees, and respond to emergency situations.
- Basic computer skills.
