Position Overview:
This role involves providing expert guidance and technical support to the NAVSUP BSC Command and associated user or system proponent activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality assurance certification for all completed work.
- Make daily decisions to evaluate and adjust workload priorities, project emphasis, resource allocation, and organizational structure.
- Plan, direct, control, and assess departmental functions, including the acceptance and prioritization of all projects and workloads from various sources.

Supervisory Duties:
- Oversee a professional team and execute administrative responsibilities such as performance evaluations, problem resolution, personnel selection, and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies.

Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and suitable for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is required.
- New hires must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

Experience Requirements:
Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in federal service or comparable experience in the private sector. This experience should reflect mastery of policy and planning concepts, interrelations of multiple IT disciplines, and project management methods relevant to managing an organization's IT resources.

Specialized Experience Includes:
1) Developing and interpreting policies and strategies for IT technical services and infrastructure management.
2) Participating in the formulation of agency-wide IT policy initiatives.
3) Exercising managerial skills to coordinate and monitor complex IT tasks.
4) Providing oversight for support teams comprising both contractor and organic members.
5) Planning and directing the work of subordinate staff while enhancing production quality.
