Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement outreach and education programs to prevent gun violence in our community.
  • Work closely with peer educators to create and implement outreach and education initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit reports as needed to track program progress and outcomes.
  • Identify and engage key community leaders and organizations to promote health information and services.
  • Provide guidance and support to peer educators on work plan goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community resources and networks.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience working with individuals and/or communities affected by trauma, substance abuse, violence, and related areas is strongly preferred.
  • Previous outreach, advocacy, and rehabilitation experience working directly with patient or community populations is also preferred.
