Imaging Services Manager

The Manager, Imaging Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the imaging center, ensuring alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the practice. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with employees, physicians, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the performance of imaging services, including radiography, nuclear, ultrasound, MRI, PET-CT, CT, mammography, X-ray, and DEXA.
- Manage employees, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and implement center goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
- Monitor and enforce radiation safety compliance measures.
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate center budgets, and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
- Lead a team of center Supervisors, mentoring and coaching them in areas of excellence.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to increase patient satisfaction and employee engagement.
- Develop strong relationships with referring physicians, attorneys, paralegals, and insurance adjusters to promote the center's imaging services.
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports outlining referring trends, market analyses, and successes.
- Bachelor's Degree or minimum 8 years experience leading a Radiology Department.
- Minimum 5 years relevant imaging experience, including management of personnel, budgets, and physician relations.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
