Maintenance Manager \/ Supervisor

Facilities / Maintenance SupervisorPosition Summary:This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the overall operation and maintenance of the building, equipment and grounds. This role will oversee the preventative maintenance of all activities and product equipment. Maintain compliance with all procedures, policies and regulations and ensure timely response to regulatory issues and inspection findings. Incumbent must have strong leadership skills and able to work with a minimum amount of supervision after training and must follow departmental procedures.Skills and Experience:•\t3-5 years' experience in maintenance of buildings, property, and equipment including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and troubleshooting control systems•\tHands on experience with preventative maintenance and machine repair for industrial automation equipment, required•\tValid driver's license, required•\tDemonstrated ability to coordinate maintenance and service contracts•\tProficiency with a facilities management/work order software, Hippo CMMS a plus•\tExperience in a manufacturing setting, preferred•\tGeneral knowledge of electrical, plumbing, building repair and HVAC•\tProfessional written and spoken communications skills•\tTime and project management skills•\tBilingual in English/Spanish a plusJob Functions:•\tPlanning, scheduling, and executing reactive and preventive maintenance tasks for production equipment using CMMS•\tComplete hands-on maintenance work and troubleshooting of production equipment including root cause analysis for tooling, stocking and parts machining•\tInspect, record and address abnormal building and property conditions.
•\tEnsuring alignment of maintenance and facility activities with specifications and regulatory requirements.
•\tCollaboration between production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations•\tNegotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing corrective maintenance\t•\tProficient in analyzing maintenance needs, scheduling tasks effectively, and ensuring the upkeep of system through proper assignment allocation •\tMakes management-approved purchases of supplies, equipment and services for the facility •\tSupervising maintenance staff, addressing performance/behavior issues, managing schedules, and conducting performance reviews. •\tAdhering to ISO 9001, 5S, Lean manufacturing procedures to promote cleanliness, order and efficiency•\tReporting maintenance metrics and data to the Plant Manager regularly•\tParticipating in A3 activities with the Plant Manager to achieve established goals \t\t\t \t\t\t
