Job Title: Residential Mortgage Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Mortgage Consultant to join our team at Loan Depot Bakersfield. As a key member of our mortgage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and guiding clients through the mortgage process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess clients' financial situations to recommend the best mortgage products that meet their needs.
* Manage the entire loan application process, ensuring timely and accurate processing from initial inquiry to closing.
* Stay informed on current mortgage products, interest rates, and lending regulations to provide expert guidance.
* Foster relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other professionals to generate referrals and build a client base.
* Review financial documents and credit reports to determine loan eligibility.
* Ensure all transactions adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
* Maintain communication with clients throughout the process, ensuring a seamless experience through to closing.

Requirements:

* Valid Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in accordance with NMLS requirements or motivated to get one.
* Strong ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
* Self-motivated with a track record of generating leads and closing loans.
* Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
* Comfortable with mortgage software systems and proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
* Adept at finding creative, compliant solutions for clients' needs.
* Strong focus on customer service, ensuring an excellent experience for every client.

Compensation: $85,000 - $150,000 yearly
