Director of Internal Audit and Compliance

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Internal Audit to join our team at DLA Inc. As a leading firm focused on internal audit, accounting, and corporate finance, our goal is to continuously develop our employees and foster a culture that combines fun with hard work and dedication.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Review and analyze budget and forecasting analysis for projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support to drive business growth.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Perform quality assurance reviews on projects conducted by other Directors, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Project Management and Billing: Manage project billing and receivables processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collection of payments.
- Receivables Management: Collect receivables from clients, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (MBA preferred).
- Professional Certifications: CPA or CIA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years related experience with a concentration in Asset Management, specializing in private equity and business development companies (BDCs).
- Industry Expertise: Professional services experience required, preferably with Big 4 or large consulting firm.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency, specifically with MS Office, and experience producing and delivering communications to the executive level.
- Leadership and Management: Prior experience managing a team, with strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated analytical ability.
