Position Overview:
As a Service Product Specialist, you will be responsible for developing diagnostic service functionalities that will be utilized worldwide to support our Dealers and Customers. You will collaborate closely with Product Engineering to comprehend new system specifications and establish effective Open Test Exchange (OTX) protocols. Your role will involve reviewing Part-II documentation to grasp the necessary Data and Service routines that need to be executed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret CAN data to assist in the application debugging process.
- Manage and utilize CAN data to facilitate application development and troubleshooting.
- Work in conjunction with Module suppliers to guarantee the accurate implementation of service functions.
- Implement Module Diagnostic Identifier (DID) to support the data logger as a diagnostic tool.
- Validate solutions through both simulation and real-world vehicle testing.
- Address field issues promptly and with a competitive spirit.
Required Skills:
- Proficient understanding of programming principles (e.g., boolean flags, loops, byte operations).
- Familiarity with automotive systems is essential.
Experience Requirements:
- Prior experience in a dealership or relevant software programming background is preferred.
Educational Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma is required.
