Position Overview

The Head of Facility Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the maintenance department, including:

  • Conducting regular inspections of the facility to ensure safety, maintenance, and optimal equipment performance.
  • Supervising and delegating tasks to maintenance staff, ensuring effective scheduling and responsibility assignment.
  • Coordinating and ensuring the timely completion of all maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspections.
  • Managing departmental operations, budgets, and monitoring expenditures.
  • Ensuring compliance with State/Federal regulations and OSHA standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Being available for on-call emergency situations as needed.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare maintenance environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality service.
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
