Operations Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Technician to join our team at Williams Companies Inc. As an Operations Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading and interpreting drawings, inspecting and supervising equipment, and maintaining operational and technical standards.
- Analyze data and collaborate with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems.
- Follow all Company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
- Acquire knowledge of and adhere to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets.
- Maintain general knowledge of site/location/equipment and permitting.
- Complete assigned reports, logs, and maintain accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum two (2) years' related experience and minimum of one (1) year experience as a technician in the oil and gas industry.
- Associates or two-year technical degree preferred.
The Operations Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces. The role requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and squatting for long periods of time. The technician must be willing to work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
