Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and configure L2 and L3 network equipment, ensuring seamless network performance.
  • Monitor network performance to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively using network management systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery programs to ensure business continuity.
  • Follow organizational IT security procedures for network setup, installing firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and monitoring system logs for signs of intrusions.

Requirements:

  • An IAT II certification
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience
  • Understanding of Network Protocols
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Any of the following certifications: CCNA, Agile, ITIL

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must hold a TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be able to obtain DHS EOD suitability; an active EOD suitability is highly desired

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
