Project Manager Job Description

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support our Federal Group. This individual will be responsible for managing projects in the construction-management field, working closely with the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project using established project controls and procedures.
  • Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Buy-out of the project in alignment with the project budget.
  • Communicate with owners, architects, and subcontractors related to project risk, timetables, costs/budgets, and change management.
  • Prepare monthly reports including cost, schedule, safety, and cash flow.
  • Provide jobsite leadership in safety and quality.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 2-5 years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $30 million or larger.
  • Prior US Government/military construction project experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
