Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Roadway Design Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing diverse projects from preliminary through final design, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with clients and colleagues from various disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in roadway design, drainage design, geometric design, 3D modeling, and accessible public spaces. A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget is essential. You will also be expected to mentor junior staff, foster innovation, and contribute to business development efforts.

Key Requirements
  • A Professional Engineering license in OH (other Midwest states a plus)
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
  • MicroStation (including OpenRoads), AutoCAD (including Civil 3D)
  • At least 10 years (for Senior Engineer) of engineering experience developing construction documents and/or public agency construction administration (15 years for Principal Engineer)
  • At least 5 years serving in a project and/or design management role
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
