Job Description: As a Medical Billing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting the organization in validating diagnosis codes billed on client claims, reconciling electronic capture of those diagnosis codes from the provider EHR or Practice Management system.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ years' experience in a relevant field, and proficiency in MS Office products including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.

Responsibilities:
  • Accessing and navigating Electronic Health Records billing encounter detail.
  • Entering and reconciling information in relevant databases.
  • Scanning through multiple sources of data to identify pertinent information to be extracted and recorded.
  • Address and solve stakeholder questions and issues.
  • Securely handle client data and patient health information.
  • Correct errors and organize the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing of detailed data.
  • Inform relevant parties regarding errors encountered and potential patterns emerging.
  • Research, record findings, and communicate effectively with Director of Operations to achieve optimum performance.

Payscale: $55,000 - $70,000 per annum depending on experience.
Location: Nashville, TN
Physical Demands / Working Conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment. Requires sitting for long periods of time. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a telephone, keyboard, calculator, and other office equipment.
