About the Role

The Medical Referral Coordinator position at DCI Donor Services is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. As a Medical Referral Coordinator, you will facilitate the donation process by coordinating and communicating referral information and logistics. You will also maintain accurate documentation of the medical screening process via data entry and follow established referral intake procedures.

This role requires exceptional teamwork, communication, and conflict management skills, as well as the ability to interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests needed for evaluation of suitability and clinical management of potential donors. You will collaborate with hospital personnel and clinical teams to develop an action plan that supports the option of donation and activate the appropriate DCIDS team members.

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in emergency or critical care. They should have demonstrated ability to understand medical terminology and read medical charts, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus up to 176 hours of PTO and comprehensive benefits.
