Product Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Strategist to join our team at KEMET. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to drive growth in our MSA business.

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow MSA business
• Work closely with Sales, factory, and other departments to develop new and ongoing business
• Coordinate and drive design-in activities with sales, manufacturing reps, and distributors to promote MSA products in North and South America
• Perform pricing and competitive product analysis by customer and market, and recommend strategies to improve market position, quality, or costs
• Define requirements from targeted customers or markets, and lead new product introduction to sales channels in America
• Ensure proposed new product lines meet technical and business demands, and provide value differentiation
• Utilize knowledge of product specifications and market conditions to support sales, and provide product information using samples and/or catalogs
• Work strategically with engineering, factories, sales, and other internal departments to develop product/market strategies
• Act as a liaison between overseas marketing, engineering, and operations
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and potential customers
• Stay up-to-date on market conditions and trends to provide strategic guidance to management
• Assume responsibility for NBO, sales revenue, and profitability on MSA products
• Maintain ownership for ensuring product lines meet customer targets

• Domestic and international travel required
