Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing the event space as needed.
  • Welcome and serve guests with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Foster a warm environment by showcasing knowledge of the resort's offerings and responding to guest inquiries about the menu.
  • Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Familiarize yourself with the event layout, including table numbers and service stations.
  • Deliver food and drinks while adhering to service standards and procedures.
  • Clear tables and manage dishware efficiently.
  • Serve appetizers as guests arrive, if required.
  • Maintain communication with guests to ensure their needs are met throughout the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and follow guidance from the Banquet Captain.
  • Recognize the significance of food safety and sanitation; report any concerns to a supervisor.
  • Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Attention to detail in a dynamic work setting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Work Environment:

This role typically operates in an indoor dining setting, with potential outdoor responsibilities during events. Employees may encounter varying weather conditions and must navigate busy areas while carrying items.

Physical Demands:

This position is physically active, requiring standing and walking for extended periods. Employees must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 30 pounds. Frequent hand washing is necessary, and employees must be able to maneuver through crowded spaces.
