**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in South Bend, IN. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing various assembly operations of plastic parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to production schedule and create labels for each job
  • Provide finished skids of product to shipping department for final preparation
  • Maintain an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Work with co-workers and lead to ensure material inventories are maintained for uninterrupted operation
  • Follow all work instructions and quality control documentation
  • Assist other team members in cross-training and conduct on-the-job training of other associates
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 6S & safety

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Experience working in injection molding or manufacturing, preferred
  • Knowledge of computers and scanning equipment, preferred
  • Punctuality and dependability
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently
