Job Title: Veterinary Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Nurse Specialist to join our successful Pet Care Clinic team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide exceptional animal care and support to our patients and their owners.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Providing general nursing care, including examining animals, taking vital signs, and administering medication
  • Assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, such as surgeries and examinations
  • Taking X-rays and drawing blood samples for testing
  • Administering first aid for emergencies and providing at-home dosage instructions for clients
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating effectively with pet owners


Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a licensed veterinary technician or nurse
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of animal care and handling, as well as pharmaceuticals prescribed by veterinarians
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Patience and a love for animals
