Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AR Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, and working collaboratively with our accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer receipts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate customer database information
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Follow up with customers for remittance advice and accurate allocation of customer receipts and discounts
  • Back up for ensuring customer receipts are posted accurately for all business banking accounts on a daily basis
  • Back up for ensuring accurate discounts are applied towards customer receipts
  • Work collaboratively with accounting staff to support and cross-train all divisions locally and internationally
  • Create and share work instructions for accounts receivable tasks performed in the system
  • Review AR aging report every week and provide visibility of top 10 past due over 30 days

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, and collection or general accounting in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to solve account receivable problems and errors
  • Illustrate the ability to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate Excel skills (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
  • Team player and ability to motivate team members
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Organized and efficient time management skills
