We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to oversee health and safety for a large solar project. As a key member of our team, you will support the onsite health and safety manager and solar employees in ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with the health and safety manager to develop and deliver training programs for solar employees
- Enforce safety regulations and protocols, including OSHA 30 requirements
- Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- 2+ years of experience in solar safety, preferably in a coordinator or trainer role
- Osha 30 certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- CPR certification
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Low and medium voltage experience
- EMT experience
