About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic sonography exams on patients, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Operate and maintain sonography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in sonography.
  • Provide education and training to colleagues and students, promoting excellence in sonography and medical imaging.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • ARDMS registration (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) or ARRT registration (R.T.(S)(ARRT)) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
