Job Summary

As a Patient Observer with Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide constant observation and support to patients who require close monitoring, ensuring their safety and preventing potential harm to themselves or others.
  • Assist patients with meeting their basic needs, such as turning and positioning, feeding, ambulation, and patient transfers, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Document and report any risks, changes, or problems observed, following established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and hand-off of patient care.
  • Participate in safety sweeps and other initiatives to prevent self-harm and harm to others.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No previous experience required, but previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • CNA or PCT certification is preferred but not required.
